About five miles from our house is a
big nature park with a small zoo and conservation center. We spent one afternoon there with our friends, the Packards. We had a nice picnic and then went to visit the zoo. We saw lots of animals including river otters, a bear, a wolf, a badger, a rattlesnake, and our favorites, the farm animals. We liked the farm animals because you could pet them. Justin actually tried to kiss Eyore the donkey. It was a very hot day so most of the animals were sleeping and hiding, we will have to go back again when it is a little cooler so we can see all the animals being active and happy.
